"Casting all your care upon Him for he careth for you." I Peter 5:7
Anger and frustration are emotions many single mothers experience, even when they love their children deeply and desire to honor God. Long days, financial pressure, exhaustion, loneliness, and unmet expectations can quietly pile up inside your heart. When on one seems to notice how hard you are trying, those feelings can surface as irritation, resentment of even anger.
At certain times, a single mother can experience anger and frustration at all the things she is facing but that does not make her a bad person! They make her- human. God invites her to bring every emotion to Him- without shame, and give it to Him because he truly loves and cares for her. God cares about what hurts. He listens without judgement. When these feelings of anger and frustration are released to Him, He begins the work of healing not only the heart but the mind too, and the result is peace.
God knows your limitations. He understands your exhaustion. He sees your effort. When you feel weak, God does not step away- He steps closer.

Scripture says His power is made perfect in weakness (II Corinthians 12:9), not in flawless performance.
God never asks you to hid your feelings from Him. He invites you to bring them honestly into His presence. Scriptures does NOT say, 'cast only your calm reasonable thoughts on Him'. It says to cast ALL your anxiety (cares) on Him!
God understands what is behind your anger. Often, it is pain, exhaustion or simply from carrying the weight of too much for too long.
When you give your frustrations to God, you are not pretending everything is fine. You are choosing to place your hurt into hands strong enough to carry it. God does not shame you for how you feel- He meets you with compassion and offers peace in exchange for what overwhelms you!
