If It Matters To You, It Matters To God

On a clear night, you can look up into our beautiful Milky Way Galaxy and see the star Deneb. This star is one of the brightest stars we can see in our galaxy, even though it is approximately 2,000 light-years away. Scientists believe that to be about 9 quadrillion miles! (That would be 9,000,000,000,000,000 if you'd like to count those zeros!)

As a reference point, the International Space Station is only about 250 miles above the Earth.

Can you imagine the care God has, that He would place a bright, beautiful star in the sky just to make our world a little more beautiful? God's attention to detail in this beautiful world He designed is one way we can know His love for us and His care for us—His own creation.

Now, if God cares about the beauty of His creation, how much more do you think He cares about us? Genesis 2 tells us that God created man in His own image, and then God breathed into man. Talk about care! And if God created us in His image, don't you think He cares about every detail concerning you?

Luke 12:7 says, "But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows."

Whether it's fear bothering us, an illness, or even someone just being mean or unreasonable, God cares. And because we are more valuable than many sparrows, God cares about us enough that He hears our every prayer. If it matters to us, it matters to Him.

Jeremiah 29:12 says, "Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you."

If we know that God cares about us with the same attention to detail that He gives to the rest of His creation, we should never hesitate to take anything to such a loving Father.
